FAQ

FAQ

What will I learn in the tryout class?

Your first class with us is a 1-on-1 so we can figure out how much to push your boundaries. You won’t break anything but a sweat learning gap jumps, rolls, climbing, and strikes.  And did we mention?  It helps underserved kids.

Why is the tryout class different times from the group classes?

The tryout is not a group class.  It is a 1-on-1 used to evaluate the student’s needs and which program would be a good fit.

Can I bring a friend to the tryout class?

Yes!  One friend max.  They need to be in the same age group.

Can I reschedule?

Absolutely. We require at least 24 hr notice to allow our instructors to make different arrangements.  There should be rescheduling link in your tryout confirmation email.

Can I get a refund?

It is non-refundable unless we cancel it on our side.  But you can reschedule with 24 hr notice.

What do you evaluate?

For kids, we primarily look at focus and comprehension.  For adults, we want to see how your body reacts to the lessons.  Please let us know about any chronic injuries.

Is the tryout class mandatory?

It is mandatory for anyone under 9 years old or special needs, and recommended for everyone else.

Can you fail the tryout?

Yes.  Those that fail would likely need private lessons until they are allowed in the group classes.

Is the tryout a good represenation of the group classes?

Yes!  However, the general concensus is that the classes are even better than the tryout since it’s more dynamic and challenging.
